Williams-Sonoma de Buyer Kobra Adjustable Slicer

19Dec09

MSRP: $49.95

Is there someone on your list this year that you know loves to cook?  The de Buyer Kobra Adjustable Slicer is a must-have essential for their kitchen!  From potatoes to vegetables – this slicer does it all!  I love that the design is lightweight and easy to use – unlike bulky mandolins that are so big and heavy and constantly carry the risk of cutting yourself.  I am definitely using the de Buyer Slicer for all of my Holiday prepping this season – from potatoes au gratin to my layered salad filled with yummy fresh veggies!

Description from Williams-Sonoma:

Indulge your inner chef with this user-friendly adjustable slicer, which duplicates knife skills that professional chefs take years to master. The V-shaped microserrated blade cuts vegetables and fruits with perfect precision – even soft ones like cooked beets, ripe tomatoes and pears – from paper thin to 5mm thick. To adjust thickness, simply rotate the thumb wheel located on the handle. An ergonomically designed pusher protects your hand from the supersharp stainless-steel blade, and it clips underneath the tool for space-saving storage. Dishwasher safe. 14 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. Made in France.
