Review: The Shred Sled

MSRP: $119.99
There’s only one word for the Shred Sled: AWESOME! A mix between a skateboard and a snowboard, the Shred Sled combines two boards connected by a flexible connector which allows both boards to rotate around the vertical and horizontal axes. The 4 inline wheels (think rollerblades) makes for a smooth and effortless ride for both kids and adults! I love that not only is it a blast, it’s a great work-out as well! Instead of just using your legs like on a regular skateboard, you use pretty much your whole body, including your arms, legs, and hips to navigate the board. So pretty much it looks as if your surfing or snowboarding on land! The little eight year old guy I nanny, Patrick, was shredding in no time at all! Once he got the feel of it, he was gliding around the neighborhood like a pro! It looked like so much fun I had to try for myself! It really was fun and easy, now to perfect some rad moves & tricks!! This is going to be a

•It has a cool feel–combination of snowboarding and skateboarding.

to propel the SHRED SLED. You don’t even have to push off!
•4 INLINE wheels have much more control than 2 wheels.
•The 4-80mm polyurethane wheels and ABEC-5 Bearings are SMOOTHER and STRONGER and rarely need to be replaced. (unlike other boards)
•The concave decks make for better foot control.
The Shred Sled is SMOOTHER AND EASIER than older 2-wheel boards.

Review: Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS

MSRP: $189.99
OK, I have to admit I’m a sucker for cafe coffee. I constantly find myself heading to the nearest drive through to order a way to expensive latte. Not anymore thanks to the CoffeeTEAM GS from Capresso! Now I can have the FRESHEST coffee right in the comfort of my own home! With a built-in burr grinder, the machine grinds the beans right in front of your eyes so you know you are getting the greatest and freshest flavor possible! What’s great about this coffee grinder/maker combo is that you get to choose from 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups and select whether you want your coffee mild, regular or strong. The stainless steel-black color combo makes a nice addition to any kitchen and the neutral colors will look amazing with all decor!
Features from Capresso:
•The CoffeeTEAM GS lets you program the amount of coffee you want to grind: choose from 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups and select mild, regular or strong. The coffee filter holder stays inside the machine during grinder preserving more aroma and reducing mechanical movements. You can even program two completely different settings, one for manual operation and one for automatic operation. This way you always enjoy exactly the same coffee taste.
•The CoffeeTEAM uses solid steel conical burrs, the same as found in our automatic coffee centers. The slow grinding of the burrs imparts minimal heat preserving more aroma than blade grinding. It also allows a finer and more uniform grind than combination machines with a blade grinder.
•Five fineness settings for light to dark beans let you adjust the grinder to your preferred beans (the darker/oilier the bean, the coarser the setting). 6 ounce bean container.
•Direct-feed technology accommodates a more compact design while keeping moisture away from the grinder. The CoffeeTEAM GS grinds the programmed amount of beans directly into the filter and then automatically initiates the brewing process.
•AM/PM Programmable Clock/Timer lets you set the time when to grind and brew automatically.
•The easy-to-read LCD display shows the time, grind and strength settings.
•Charcoal water filter removes up to 82% of chlorine and other impurities.
•10-cup (50 oz.) Capacity.
•GoldTone Filter included. CoffeeTEAM GS can also be used with size 4 filter paper.
•Over 200° F brew and 180° F coffee temperature in glass carafe directly after brewing.
•2 Hour Safety Shut-Off will keep the coffee hot for two hours after brewing. Then the heating element will shut off by itself conserving energy and giving you peace of mind. PLEASE NOTE: A red light will blink indicating the heating element is on. The clock and all programmed settings stay on.
•The unit can be used with or without the grinder, accommodating pre-ground coffee, including flavored coffees or decaf. Choose the BREW MODE for pre-ground coffee or GRIND/BREW MODE for whole bean coffee.
•Stop-and-Serve lets you remove the carafe while brewing to serve a quick cup.
•Coated Non-Stick Warming Plate
•Stainless Steel accents
